VOLUNTEER MARIA'S PROFILE

Just ask Maria. Here's a wonderful woman who is involved with the Senior Center, Helpline, the Senior Service Corp., Harborview, Carteret General Hospital, Respite and Hope Mission!

Additionally, she is very involved with the VFW but has developed carpel tunnel syndrome and cannot knit or crochet anymore, This is a busy, busy lady. What's more, she is always ready to help whenever and wherever she can! She is also on the RSVP Advisory Council helping out and raely miss a meeting. What makes Maria run?

he same thing that makes all of you volunteers have pride and accomplishment in helping others, contributing to the greater good of your community, helping people to learn, creating houses with Habitat for Humanity, helping at the hospital == so many things that all of you do to make our lives and the lives of others better. There's a great spirit of giving here and Maria is a prime example.
